This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed on The Harbour Gift for delivery within Norway. By placing an order on our site, you agree to these shipping terms. This policy outlines shipping costs, processing times, delivery methods, tracking information, and procedures for addressing issues with your order.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery destination and order size. We offer free standard shipping on all orders over NOK 500 within Norway. Any shipping promotions or thresholds will be clearly displayed at checkout.
Order Processing, Cut-off, and Transit Times
Order Cut-off: Orders placed before 3:00 PM (Central European Time) on business days (Monday to Friday) are processed the same day. Orders received after this time will be processed the next business day.
Handling Time: 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday) to prepare and dispatch your order.
Transit Time: Standard delivery usually takes 1–3 business days within Norway, depending on your location. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays, weather conditions, or peak periods.
Delivery Methods
Carriers: We use trusted carriers to deliver your order securely and promptly. The carrier assigned to your order will be specified in your shipping confirmation and tracking email.
Delivery Options: We provide home delivery across Norway. At this time, delivery to pickup points or lockers may not be available but will be updated if introduced.
Address Changes
Before Dispatch: You may request an address change within 24 hours of placing your order by contacting us at contract@theharbourgift.shop.
After Dispatch: Once the order is shipped, changing the address is not possible. Please contact your local carrier for any redirect options available.
Order Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled prior to shipment by contacting us immediately. Once dispatched, please follow our Return Policy to return unwanted items.
Damaged or Missing Parcels
If you receive a damaged parcel, please refuse delivery and notify us immediately at contract@theharbourgift.shop with photos of the damage.
If your parcel appears to be missing items or was delivered without a signature and shows visible damage, contact us promptly with photographic evidence.
If tracking shows no movement beyond the estimated delivery date, please contact us and we will liaise with the carrier to resolve the issue.
International Orders
Currently, we ship only within Norway. For future international orders, customers will be responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, and fees based on their country’s regulations. Delivery times and customs clearance processes may vary and are outside of our control.
Tracking Your Order
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched. Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear. If you do not receive tracking information within three business days, please contact us for assistance.
Undeliverable or Returned Packages
If a package is returned to us due to incorrect address or unclaimed delivery, a refund will be issued minus original shipping costs once we receive the package back. Re-shipment will require payment of a new shipping fee.
